LNG Loading

Loadings of LNG is the volume of LNG cargo loaded on LNG carriers at LNG liquefaction plants and to smaller extent at LNG storage facilities.

Export is similar to loadings, but export volumes excludes cabotage shipments within each country.

The table “Quarterly volumes of LNG loadings per country“ shows statistics of LNG loadings by country and quarter. The data for the current quarter are presented on cumulative basis. The value of loading is given in metric tons of LNG. Export hereafter refers to the physical shipment of LNG from LNG plants or from other gas carriers, including coastal transportation.

Below we show the aggregate estimate of LNG exports by country for a given quarter (beginning on 01.XX.YYYY), which includes LNG shipments from all LNG plants and other ports of the country.
